Thomas Cahn, M.D., FAAD

Board Certified Dermatology and Family Medicine

Dr. Thomas Cahn is board-certified in both family medicine and dermatology. Having recently relocated to South Florida, he brings over thirty-five years of invaluable experience from his flourishing dermatology practice in Leominster, Massachusetts. Dr. Cahn’s academic journey includes attending the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville for medical school and completing an internship at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. He went on to achieve his dermatology residency at Boston University – New England Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Dr. Cahn’s commitment to dermatology extended to his role as President of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, where he not only contributed significantly to the field but also taught medical students and residents at the University of Massachusetts. Recognized as the best chief resident in Boston, his wealth of expertise and leadership in dermatology makes him a valuable addition to the medical community. 

In addition to his exceptional medical career, Dr. Cahn is an avid enthusiast of boating. Five years ago, upon retirement, he wholeheartedly embraced his passion, navigating his boat, aptly named “Rash Idea,” to various destinations across the country. This adventure allowed him to explore the beauty of different locales while indulging in his love for the sea. Despite the allure of retirement, Dr. Cahn’s dedication to patient care persisted, prompting his return to dermatology. His decision to rejoin the field speaks volumes about his enduring commitment to healthcare and his eagerness to contribute his extensive expertise to our practice.
